Her first month in a new foster home

First - she was called Bella - but I already have 2 Bellas in the house so she had to be called something else. I call her Easy or Angel. In truth - she is happy to be called anything just as long as you do it with love. This little girl has come a long way since I first brought her home a month ago. Once she started to settle in and with a little discipline her bad habits have disappeared. She gets along great with my 6 greys and loves to play with my Bella. They play and play and play! Twice she and Bella have come barreling in from the backyard and she is covered in mud but sooo happy she has a smile that will warm your heart! And mud or not - she has the softest coat of any greyhound I've every touched- Like rabbit fur! She is very bright and learns quickly mostly learning from watching the others. She learned to use the doggie door the first day and understood the pool as well. She also learned from Bella that she can stand easily drink from the pool if she stands on the first step (which is a large tanning shelf) in the pool. Easy loves her people and at first followed me every step but is just a happy to hang out with the other greys when I am not around. At first she ate her meals so fast and then tried to take as much from the other dogs. She learned quickly that this is not allowed. Now that she is sure she will have enough to eat as of this week her eating has showed down to almost normal. She has never had an accident in the house. She is also not at all startled when touched while she is sleeping and is not at all frighted by a thunder storm. She share nicely with the other dogs - when I come home at night I usually find her sharing a dog bed with one of the others. My dogs have never shared - and they were quite surprised when she just climbed on the bed with them and laid down! She has also discovered her reflection in the window at night and in the TV. She'll be passing by and just stop and stare at the beautiful girl in the reflection!

More to come!

I've got to see a pic of that girl all covered in mud, so proud of herself. Why is it that white dogs seem to find the mud the instant they go outside?
